Rumor menyebutkan bahwa pengumuman ini akan menjadi kenyataan. Mereka kabarkan bahwa GTA V untuk personal computer akan dirilis pada tanggal 12 Maret tahun 2014 ini.
Situs gaming asal Jerman, Spieletipps, mengungkapkan rumor bahkan mendapatkan screenshot permainan terpopuler yang sudah meluncur minimalnya di Xbox 360 dan PlayStation 3 ini. Sumber informasi ini beredar dari situs Amazon. Sebelumnya, judul game seperti Mortal Kombat dan Injustice versi PC sudah pernah dibocorkan melalui Amazon.
Kabar burung behkan menyebutkan tanggal tepatnya game ini mulai diual. GTA V versi PC pertama kali akan dijual di Norwegia pada tanggal 19 bulan Maret tahun 214 ini.
Namun, penerbit game Rockstar masih belum memberikan informasi dan update terbaru mereka tentang GTA V versi PC.
